Law Enforcement Awards
- Jun 26, 2018 -

Law enforcement is any system by which some members of society act in an organized manner to enforce the law by discovering, deterring, rehabilitating, or punishing people who violate the rules and norms governing that society. Although law enforcement may be most concerned with the prevention and punishment of crimes, organizations exist to discourage a wide variety of non-criminal violations of rules and norms, effected through the imposition of less severe consequences.

The goal of our law enforcement award is to recognize the value that the recipient provide to state and local law enforcement and to institutionalize the theories and practices.

We can give our Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award to a well-rounded law enforcement officer who has exceeded the duty requirements expected of his or her position and has demonstrated a distinct pattern of community service coupled with professional achievement.

Also our National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award recognizes officers who go above the call of duty. A major secondary purpose of this award is to encourage further development of department and post Law and Order Committees through continued recognition of law enforcement officers. It is firmly believed this award serves to promote public trust and support of our law enforcement agencies.

The members in law enforcement deserve our sincere appreciation and respect for their sacrifice and dedication to keep our society to carry out the creed: There must be laws to go by, the laws must be observed and strictly enforced, and law-breakers must be prosecuted.
